Does the processor expert  work in the special edition of CodeWarrior V 10.6? In what path are the "components"?

Yes, it does work inthe special edition. There are no licensing limiations for Processor Expert (except if you want to create components to sell them). The installed components are in C:\Freescale\CW MCU v10.6\MCU\ProcessorExpert (but they are packaged).

If you create your own components or import user components (e.g. from McuOnEclipse, see Processor Expert Component *.PEupd Files on GitHub | MCU on Eclipse) then they are in C:\ProgramData\Processor Expert\CWMCU_PE5_00

Thank you for your reply, Eric. Do I have to unzip the packages before using them?

No, you do not have to unpack anything. Actually the components delivered with the installation (inside your installation folder) are packaged and encrypted, so you cannot inspect the source code. But you can have a look at the source code after you have generated code. The *.PEupd files are unpacked at the time you import them, and they are pretty much normal text/source files.
