All,

In the K70 Reference Manual, under section 39, 16-bit ADC it has been mentioned that hardware average function is supported.

In the K70 Datasheet document, (Doc. Name: K70P256M120SF3) under table -29 it is mentioned that no ADC hardware averaging function.

Is the hardware averaging function present as part of 16-bit ADC?

Thanks

Hemanth

Hello:

Yes, hardware averaging is supported by ADC in K70. I think you refer to the next part of the datasheet right?

The "No ADC hardware averaging" just represents a condition. It means that a Crate between 37.037 and 461.467 Ksps can be achieved using continuous conversions and *without* enabling hardware averaging, but it does not mean that averaging is not supported.

I hope this clarifies.
