EVK Linux not logging in stuck at login prompt

Question asked by Ganesh H on May 19, 2014

Hi,

I sucessfully booted Linux preloaded SD card on IMX28 EVK. I am getting boot messages at UART Debug port. The booting process stops at the login prompt freescale login: root

When i give the username root and press it remains it wont login or goes to the root prompt ? How to solve this issue? After that am also getting a matchbox error. The login prompt is highlighted in the messages.
