Help configuring MK40X256VMD100 on the tower board. Is it to old?

I want to use a tower board (Kinetis K40). It has a MK40X256VMD100.

I want to configure the clocks and flexCAN using the processor expert. But I can't find the MCU in the list when creating a new project.

I read than MK40X256VMD100 was replaced with MK40DZ10.

What MCU should I select in processor expert?

Hello:

If you use TWR-K40X256, then when creating the project you can go with MK40DX256Z or PK40X256 (under 100 MHz).

Also from the CPU component in Processor Expert, make sure to select the MAPBGA option:

Hope this helps!
