Hi,

I have a custom board iMX6 board which has a SGTL 5000 codec. I was able to probe it and it now shows in my /proc/asound directory.

However i do not know hoe i test it.

Can anyone tell me how i can test my Audio ?

Here is my log

You may use aplay and arecord utility as shown in section 23.5.1 (Stereo CODEC Unit Test)
of "i.MX_6Dual6Quad_Linux_Reference_Manual.pdf".

Hi,

How do I test the read and write cycles of the SGTL5000 chip using the Interrupt registers (IRQ)? Currently, I have all the alsa utilities attached in the kernel, but I do not have i2ctools.

I want to toggle read/write of SGTL audio every 32ms using interrupts inside SGTL.

Best,

Abhijeet
