I got 1 PDF online which explains about creating xml file for configuration but i am not confident that i am going on correct path for migration.

The latest CodeWarrior for MCU is v10.5, which can be downloaded from:

http://tinyurl.com/6jo5tge

To import a Classic CodeWarrior to Eclipse CW, user needs to create a new bareboard project in CW10.5 and then add/copy all your source files to the new project. This is the cleanest way to import a project. Below is an application not for how to do this:

http://cache.freescale.com/files/soft_dev_tools/doc/app_note/AN4727.pdf

But if you are using DSC products, CodeWarrior v10.5 includes CodeWarrior Classic Project Importer for CW DSC v8.3 projects.

For how to do it, please refer to section 3.8 in CW10.5 Targeting Manual:

C:\Freescale\CW MCU v10.5\MCU\Help\PDF\Targeting_Microcontrollers.pdf
