Kinetis FlexNVM partition

Hi all,

I'm trying to understand how flexNVM partition works.

It seems that th epartition command can not be executed if the memory is already partitioned.

The only way I found is to use Erase All Blocks command before to set a new partition.

Obviously this is not so useful, because of the Erase All Blocks delete my program code also.

What's the correct way to change a partition of a CPU?

Hello:

There is no workaround for the mass-erase. The partitioning is supposed to happen only once.

In application note AN4282 - Using the Kinetis Family Enhanced EEPROM functionality chapter 3.1 you will find the next:

Hope this is useful.
