Hello

I've been granted today access to the Widevine DRM library for developing a media box.

Apparently there exists only an Android version for it, though Android runs on Linux.

My questions:

- Can this library also used without Android on top?

- Is there any Widevine documentation at all for the API? Hard to start developing without any docs (o;

cheers

richard

Hello Richard,

Perhaps it would be better to ask the guys @ Widevine these questions... certainly Android is Linux, and it sounds plausible but we can only be sure by asking Widevine

When asking Widevine they refer to ask Freescale for the documentation for the libs I have access to...

But for the documentation Freescale asks for money for a super-dooper-gold-platinum support contract (o;

Strange business model to just deliver the libs and example source code without any API documentation ;-)

Hi Richard,

Would you mind mentioning how/where you've obtained the libraries from ? I can't find them.

Cheer,

Dan
