Hello,

I am trying to program the KE02 which was coming on FRDM board on a different platform.

I have connected RST/SWDIO/SWDCLK and supply to ULINK2 but I am not able to communicate with the device,

did someone already face this issue?

Heil uVision 5 says:

not able to communicate with Cortex M device:

Error: Flash Download failed  -  Target DLL has been cancelled

Thank you for your help with this issue.

Best regards,

Antoine

Hi Jingjing,

I am not able to get connection to the device in fact,

I use the standard Memory definition in MDK for this device, but anyway I think this should impact after when trying to program,

for the moment it didn't get connection to the Cortex.

I will try with uvision 5.1 and tell you what I have.

Thank you for your help,

Antoine

Hi Antoine,

Did you already setup the FslKinetisDriversV116.exe ?

If not, please download it from this link: Freescale Kinetis OSJTAG Drivers V1.16

      After setup, please try again.

If you still have question, please let me know!

Best regards!

Hello Jingjing,

Thank you for your recommandation,

unfortunatelly it doesn't help.

I think driver are fine for software side,

i am just trying to interface KE02 with KEIL through SWD debug connection, I added the pulldown resistor on PIN 62 as suggested in Reference manual,

but still not able to get connection to the device.

I see correctly SWD_CLK signal but no response on SWDIO line.

Thank you for your help,

Regards

Antoine

Hi Antoine,

I'm sorry for my later response!

I have a question, did you use the FRDM-KE02 board, or just use the chip from the FRDM-KE02 board and the test board is draw by yourself?

   Wish for your reply!

Best regards!

Hi jingjing,

My answer is even more late, my excuses.

I actually tried to program the chip from another test board, not FRDM board.

I unsoldered it and placed on a socket on bread board. But unfortunately I don't get mean to connect to the device through ULink-2 and KEIL on SWD line.

Any clue?

Best regards,

Antoine

Hi Antoine,

Please check your RAM address in the ULINK2 configuration, whether it is :

Start:  0x1FFFFC00

Size:0x1000

If it is  not this, please change it to this, this is so much important.

If it is right, please give me your ULINK2 information in the Build Output windows when your are failure.

Thank you!

Wish it helps you!

Best regards!

Hi Antoine,

Did you update your keil MDK soft to the newest version?

I find if use the low version of keil MDK, will can't program the KE02 chip when I use Jlink.

But when I update my keil MDK to MDK_510, then I can program it successfully.

So, you can update your MDK soft and try it again.

If you still have question, please let me know!

Best regards!

Jingjing
