questions about the LIN Communication of MPC5606s

Hello ,everybody

I am using the MPC5606S-DEMO-V2 board for my test, and the board bought from theFreescale company.

1. When I using LINFlex sends data, I can’t get any data on the TX pin of the MPC5606, and when I read the register of LINESR,I found the bit of BOF is set ,I don’t what’s the reason of this ?( The program I used for debug from the CodeWarrior example program library.)

Hi,

If you have the MPC5606S-DEMO-V2, the LIN transceiver is not supplied and enabled. You have to drive 2 GPIO outputs to 1  to enable it. See board’s schematic and find “LIN_ENABLE” and “ENABLE_BATT_SWITCH” signals and set respective GPIO pins to output and set  level high. Then you should wait little bit before you transmit data, I think.
