In QEIWRM - 5.10.5 Timer Functional Description:

The clock input to the timer prescaler can be selected from the following sources:

• The system clock (ipg_clock)

• The system ‘slow go’ clock (ipg_clock internally divided by 16)

What does the "system clock" mean? Is it csb_clk, or ce_clk, or core_clk, or the PCI_CLK ( CLKIN not used)?

ipg_clock is global IP clock. In case of MPC8360, ipg_clock = csb_clk

Thanks. But I got one different answer from Technical Support that  the "ipg_clock = one half of the QUICC Engine frequency" and the "QUICC Engine frequency" is the ce_clk.

You are right. The link is QEIWRM Rev. 4.4, section 5.10.2.2 GTM Clock Source Modes.
