my linux L3.0.35_Version is 1.1.0_121218,MSI does not work in the version but I Want use pcie,this is my dmesg:

Thanks for moving here.

I checked the codes, 1.1.0 release doesn't support MSI, only the legacy INTx mode is supported.

Standard PCIe EP should work well in Legacy INTx mode when MSI is not supported, refer to the PCI/PCIE SPEC.

Regarding to your log, the memory space required by PCIe EP device had been allocated by PCIe RC already.

The PCIe link is up, PCI/PCIe bus enumeration had been completed.

In the other words, the clocks, power, and memory map had been ready. and the PCIe EP is ready to use.

I don't know the exact reason why your driver can't register.

The PCIe link is up, PCI/PCIe bus enumeration had been completed.

Can you trace into the codes and figure out the root cause?

BTW, The following devices had been tested on 1.1.0 releases.

* Intel e1000e network card

* Intel iwl4965, 5100, 620, and 630 wifi cards

* xHCI PCIe2USB3.0 card.
