Debuger is set  in  simulator 56801.  Please  help me.

Hi,

You meet problem to debug your 56801 application.
Do you meet the problem only in simulator mode or with the hardware too ?
What is the tool version used ?

To do that you must:
- Start the IDE and click on Help | About Metrowerks CodeWarrior.
- Click on Installed Products
- Provide us all info displayed.
- Or you can save them in a txt file.

Be aware the CodeWarrior Development Studio for Freescale 56800/E Digital Signal Controllers Version 8.1.1 is available. This is a patch for the DSC8.0 (must be installed in first)
You can download this version on our web site via the link:
http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/overview.jsp?nodeId=01272600617882140B

You can have several versions installed on the same PC.
There is only one restriction: install them on separate folder.

Regards
Pascal

Hi!
The problem is next.
During debuging in step mode after compleeting
        bfset #01, X:0x0FA0
I see View>Registers>Clock Generation on register PLLCR, that have address X:0x0FA0 and it value is 0x0000. I dont understand why it value is not 0x0001. The debuger is set on 56800 Simulator and processor DSP56F801.

Thanks.

Hi,

I performed some tests with the simulator and real board on DSP56F803 (not have a 801).
I reproduced the behaviour with the simulator but not on the board.
This seems to be a limitation or a problem with the simulator.
Can I propose you to report this issue on the Suppor team using the web interface ?
By this way I could log this issue in our system (bug tracking).
