i.MX6 12bit double data rate parallel display port

I was wondering if the i.MX6 supports 12bit double data rate parallel display port (i.e. makes it 24bpp).

Hi Rabeeh,

Yes ,it support. The i.MX6 has one Parallel 24-bit display port. You can reference the i.MX6 reference manual about parallel display port.

Dan - thanks for the reply.

I'm familiar with the 24bit display interface; i was wondering if there is a feature to make that 24bit interface a 12bit double data rate interface (i.e. data valid on rising edge of pixel clock and next data will be on falling edge).

There are transceivers that supports this mode.
