We've recently purchased a TWR-K20D72m, and we don't know which flahloader is needed.
Where can I find this information?
The TWR-K20 comes with an onboard programmer through the USB connection. Please refer to the Quick Start guide, section 2.4
I'm trying to use that mini-B usb port to upload my software.
I've read that document but there's no useful information in that chapter to help me configure IAR and load my software to the board.
I understood that the software cannot be directly written to flash, and that it is copied to RAM with a flashloader. From there the flashloader knows the board mapping and copies my software to the correct place.
If I can be any more precise please let me know.
The board includes another MCU of Freescale, the S08JM60. This one is used to program the Kinetis K20.
The S08 uses code from P&E Micro, it is called OSJTAG, and you can find more information and drivers here: P&E Microcomputer Systems
If you prefer to flash directly your application using a BDM, P&E (Among others) offers their own debugger, the Multilink Universal. If you are using IAR, you could also consider the I-Jet, IAR's debugger.
I hope this answer has been helpful for you. If you have problems using the OSJTAG after reading the link I have mentioned, please let me know.
I have updated my IAR (had an old version from the CD of the package) and selected the flashloader FlashK60Dxxx64K.board and seems to work fine.
Still strange to have it work on my k20.
