Hi,

I was wondering whether a device's 128bit UID was unique among all Kinetis devices or just within its device family?

I couldn't find any relevant info.

Thanks for your input.

Hi, Garnier

Yes, this 128-bits UID is unique for each Kinetisseries item. But the detail information is confidential. Thanks a lot for your understanding.

Best Regards

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your reply.

Just to make sure I understood right.

If I have a K10* chip, it won't have the same UID as any, say, K20* chip but could have the same UID than a KL1* chip?

Is that correct?

Best Regards,

Donatien

That is correct the Kinetis UID as its name describes is unique to a single device across the complete Kinetis families.
