Dear support,
We assume that the EXT_TAMPER0-5 are for access the fuse which is already blown,
can we connect these directly to the GND, in case we don't use this function?
In the reference board, this was connected to the GND via 10Kohm resister,
is this resister necessary?
Best regards,
Keisuke

Hi Keisuke,
The tamper pins are used as part of the security sub-system for external tamper detection. If they are not being used in your system, you should tie them to ground. The resistors are on the tower board to allow for flexibility of connecting them to VDD to try out the tamper capabilities.

Dear Keisuke,
Just a small clarification (which originally came from Anthony as well) of why connecting the tamper output pins directly to ground is allowed when they are not used. - By default all the tamper pins are inputs. The active tamper detection has to be enabled for those pins to become outputs.
Sincerely yours, Naoum Gitnik.
Dear Anthony,
Thank you for your reply.
I want to know a detail about the tamper.
Is there a material?
