Hi all,

I am confused about the limits of my licence, and I wanted to find which edition I'm running. How do I get this information? I know this PC has a CW10.3, but I don't know if it's an evaluation or standard edition. Anyone knows where to see this?

Thanks,

Hi Marina,

the file is inside the MCU folder, e.g.

C:\Freescale\CW MCU v10.3\MCU\license.dat

Note that if you do not have that file at all, the tools are running in 'special' (or free) edition.

you can open the license.dat with nodepad.

for evaluation license. it records the expire date. and HOSTID=ANY

for example, below is the part of evaluation license. it's expire time is 15-aug-2013

Hi Jun,

That was the first thing I thought to do, but I can't find license.dat under my c:\freescale folder.

It's a cw10.3, doues it work differently now?

Thanks,
