Can SSD be used with IMX536?

Hello,

We are using IMX536 in our design and also we are using Solid state drive (SSD).

IMX536 datasheet specifies SATA HDD interface.

So my question is:

Can i use SATA SSD with HDD interface?

Also, let us know the availability of driver

Plz let us know if we are missing something.

Hello Varun,

The i.MX53 supports boot from HD and SSD devices using the PATA and SATA interfaces.

Please take a look at section 7.5.4 in the i.MX53 Reference Manual for more information on SSD configuration.
