Hi,

I have the RGMII interfaces disabled in the RCW and that allows me to have most of the associated EC1 and EC2 pins as no connects.  I do have a few questions regarding a few aspects:

1) Do I still need a 1K pulldown on EC1_TX_EN?

2) are the EMI1_MDC/MDIO pins still available for use to program chips connected the SGMII interfaces?

3. The reserved pins E23 and F24 are for the P2041 EMI2_MDC/MDIO interface but are not used in the P2040.  Do I really have to connect them to 1.2V pullups or can I leave E23 floating and just pulldown F24.

1) I am afraid yes.

2) Yes.

3) EMI2_MDIO needs to be tied throught a 2-10K resistor to GND. EMI2_MDC may be left unconnected.
