LTIB kernel contribution

Dear Freescale,

I work with i.MX6 SoC and walking through the kernel I've found several issues. I'm familar with kernel development community due to have a huge experience contributing to mainline, but does Freescale provide some infrastructure to contribute LTIB BSP?

With best regards,

Alex

It would be very nice to have you in meta-freescale project, alexsmirnov!

We can include your kernel patches or any other patch you have!

Please, register your self https://lists.yoctoproject.org/listinfo/meta-freescale

As Leo mentioned, a lot help is needed :smileywink:

Hi Alex,

Do your want to contribute to freescale kernel repo? or BSP in general? For the BSP case, this year (I am not sure when), we are moving to Yocto, which as you know, this is an open-source project and you can (of course) contribute to it (check this link). A lot of help is needed!. I would recommend that your efforts go into this direction.

Dear Leonardo,

thank you for the reply. Unfortunately I'm not familar with Freescale development processes and which kernel trees do you use internaly. My situation is following: I work with i.MX6 SoC and have tried the latest LTIB from Freescale downloads. I've found several issues in the code and want to share my fixes. But I don't know any Freescale trees, mail-lists etc..
