I'm currently trying to find any information on software floating point performance on KL25 MCUs. For simplicity's sake and the fact that I need approx. a time resolution of 1ms I am planning to use float values wherever they seem convenient. Like this I can save myself some trouble with integer scaling mistakes and the code becomes more readable and debuggable.
However, I have hardly any idea of how fast software floating point operations will perfom on my KL25. On smxrtos.com (however, I'm not using any RTOS) I found some values to be between 1..160us, depending on the kind of operation. But this maybe has not much to do with KL25.
Can anyone give me an estimation on what I should expect?
