Hi all,

I would like to use Hardware Assisted Debugging on Windows Embedded Compact 7 in order to debug an issue with EBoot on one of the i.MX6 boards. Microsoft Visual Studio and Platform Builder exposes eXDI (Extended Debugging Interface) interface to support Hardware Assisted Debugging. We are using the DSTREAM (JTAG) from ARM. I could not find a driver for DSTREAM which supports eXDI interface.

Questions:

  • Is Hardware Assisted Debugging supported on Windows Embedded Compact 7?
  • Does DSTREAM from ARM provides an eXDI driver for Windows Embedded Compact 7?
  • If NO, Is there a recommended JTAG vendor who provides an eXDI driver for Windows Embedded Compact 7 to debug i.MX6 boards?

Any experience with using Hardware Assisted Debugging on Windows Embedded Compact 7 would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Vimal
