Hi,
We don't have Allegro software and consequently we can't import .brd file on our shematics software (Altium).
Could be possible someone from Freescale send us schematics for the Sabre MCIMX6Q-SD, exported into a 16.2 version (version after 16.2 are not supported on Altium).
Thanks,
CC.

The file ORCAD_16_2.zip was from Mark.
I can read it in OrCad 9.1.
Enclosed is the same file, saved in OrCad 7_2 format.
Hi Yuri,
can You give the layout file of MCIMX6Q-SD in ORCAD v. 16.2 format?
We looking for making device based on i.MX6 processor, and I need to have a reference design.
Thanks at any case.
Perhaps the following helps (layout file in text format)
Hi, Yuri,
I have a sily question about SABRE schematic: there are a lot of solder shorts and resistors with zero resistance.
Шы ше result of ALLEGRO back annotation from PCB Editor to Schematic Editor?
Thanks at any case!
I am not a member of the SABRE design team, but - my opinion - solder shorts and resistors with zero resistance are not result
of back annotation. Usually they are inserted in schematic design stage as test / measurements points.
Hi,
I am trying to open the reference design, "SCH-27417_C3.DSN" for i.MX6 Dual lite in OrCAD 9.1, however it returns "an unsupported file format" error. Any hope to get the file compatible for OrCAD 9.1 version ? Thanks in advance.
Hi Yuri,
What do you mean ?
In the Sabre box, the sd card contains only android stuff. And on the Freescale's site, design files are with Allegro format.
Rgds,
Christophe.
Sorry, i haven't seen the joint file. I try it.
Hi Yuri,
No, it doesn't work. Now, i remember: it was the same thing with the IMX53QSB. The only way is to export the schematics with Allegro/Orcad under a 16.2 version. Ask to Mark Middleton, he's the designer of the board.
Rgds,
Christophe.
Hi Yuri,
It works fine with Altium.
Thank you.

Christophe.
