Hello I would like to program in assembly instead of C  for this chip.  Is it possible to use the d-bug12 monitor with this family so I can use asmIDE?  Thanks.

  1. Yes, you can use assembler for programming S12XD.
  2. D-bug12 is little bit older tool and the last version is 4.0.0b36. http://www.freescale.com/files/soft_dev_tools/software/programmers/DB12v4FW.zip

Unfortunately S12XD family is not directly supported (Latest supported device is S12Dx512).
