Hi,

Nothing is seen on seiko display (touch), when trying to boot IMX53-Ubuntu on start-R board. Can anybody help me in displaying GUI on touch. I'm able to display the GUI through VGA.

Thanks

Swaraj

For the Seiko display, please try to add the "video=mxcdi0fb:RGB24,SEIKO-WVGA di0_primary" in the bootargs in u-boot.

Basically, you can check the BSP release note for all the bootargs parameters for kernel boot.

I think you talk about the on-screen keyboard. I didn't try it on the i.MX board. but I think the following information may useful for you.

1. http://cmwelsh.com/enable-on-screen-keyboard-ubuntu-lucid-lynx

Hi Randy,

I have IMX53 Start-R board with the following information on the board:  SCH -27104 Rev B 700-27104 Rev X5. The link you have specified talks about the IMX53 QSB board.

Do we really need to do any modification on this version of Start-R boards to get the display. Please let us know.

Thanks,

Swaraj,
