Hi I am working in imx51 processor. In my project we are using 7 port USB(USB2517.) After enabling in Kconfig when I boot up the kernel it hangs after ehci_hcd: USB 2.0 'Enhanced' Host Controller (EHCI) Driver It is not detecting the Freescale On-Chip EHCI Host Controller. Is there anything am I missing. I googled in net but no clue of what is wrong. Thanks for your valuable information Regards, Sountharya R

Hello All!

I have a similar problem to this.

The first and the last usb related message I have:

ehci_hcd: USB 2.0 'Enhanced' Host Controller (EHCI) Driver

missing: init EHCI-MXC or something like this

It seems I also can have voltage problem.

I am using kernel 3.2 and dtb file. I supposes I enabled everything.

Is there someone else who uses dtb too?

Maybe someone has idea where and how I should define ehci node in dtb file?

Thanks,

Tamas

Ya. The system hangs when I enabled the "support for Host1 port on freescale Controller" in Kconfig

You mean the hub will hang the system when you plug it to the root hub port?
