MPX4115AP weird reading

I have the MPX4115AP sensor. I have it hooked up according to you datasheet. The output of Pin 1 (Pin 3 is +5V) starts at 3.8V when power is first applied, and then drops gradually to about 2.5V after 5-10 seconds. The air pressure is not changing.
When I do change the air pressure, however, the reading continues to drop - it has no effect.

Any help would be appreciated (and the sooner the response the better)!

Thanks!!!

Hello Mark,

Yep, you're rigth... I'll ask the appropriated persons to take a look at the dates on the forums. Perhaps Carlos might help 4guin4g4 ?

Well, at least he had an answer from us =).

Cheers,

Josh

Hello Ian,

Could you please let me know what is the specific part number of the device that you're using? There are two datasheets for this device (depending on the device version), both of them shows the pin out as follows:

pin#1: NC

pin#2: Vs

pin#3: GND

pin#4: Vo

Hi Josh,

Something is wrong with the dates on this board. I believe Ian asked that question more than 5 years ago.

The board shows he asked the question on October 1 of this year, but that Alban responded back in 2007. The June 2007 date is correct, so I would hope that Ian is not still waiting on an answer.
