Hi,
I'm working with Freescale NCB and SRB 13213 developing applications on beestack with beekit & Codewarrior special edition for HC(S)08. Is there a way to do this type of work using Linux (Ubuntu)? Codewarrior special edition for HC(S)08 for linux exists?

Hello

We do not have Linux Hosted version of CodeWarrior for HC08.
We only provide Windows hosted development tool chain for that processor.

I am well aware this is a very old thread, but anyway. The recently released CW for MCU works natively on Linux systems. It can be downloaded here.

But in my opinion, You should make CodeWarior multiplatform tool. There are many people who work under linux and just switch to Windows to work with Freescale uC's.

yurichi, I don't know if this is a real solution for you, but you can use the build tools (and the debugger too) with wine under Linux.

Hi,

I don't what can it do, but you can have a look to the SDCC compiler (Small Device C Compiler) and works with many platforms (Win9x/NT/2000/XP Linux & Mac OS X) .
SDCC is Free Open Source Software, distributed under GNU General Public License (GPL).
I don't if there's support for S08 core.
