Hello,

i bought an mcf5373L evaluation board. I want to create a project of type "Coldfire Stationery" but I cannot choose CF_M537x because it not exists. I looked for an patcher but i find nothing.  I need another codewarrior version? what can i do?

codewarrior 6.3 and mcf5373L

Thanks. :smileywink:

I cannot to install it because i have got an error that it says,

"A qualified installation of codewarrior Developer Studio could not be found in the forder specifier. Please check the forder selected and try again".

i choose the forder C:\Archivos de programa\freescale\codewarrior for coldfire v6.3\

i don't know that occurs.

For some reason your system layout appears to be confusing the installer. I would just try the default settings to begin with, and then try the path C:\Archivos de programa\freescale\ to see if the installer can locate the CodeWarrior directory on its own.

No, thus it does not work either. Not that I can do.

Two last things I can think of to try:

First try changing C:\Archivos de programa\freescale\ to C:\Program Files\freescale\, and run the installer. If that works, the problem was that the installer didn't recognize the different name for the Program Files directory. Be sure to change the directory name back.

Second, if that doesn't work, something must be botched in the CodeWarrior install. So, uninstall CodeWarrior using the Windows Add or Remove Programs control panel. Then, reinstall CodeWarrior. If you can, try to use the defaults, especially on the directory paths. Then try running the 6.3.1 installer.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to file a service request.

Not. I think that is a licence problem, i don`t know.

Anyway, thanks.

the solution is to replace "freescale" by "metrowerks",

c:\Archivos de programa\metrowerks\codewarrior......

i can to install the patch, but the patch 6.3.1 is not the solution because still the micro is not on my list. I don't know the codewarrior version that i need.

You need to Submit a Service Request with Freescale to have this looked into. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but this has progressed beyond my trouble-shooting skills...
