Sorry for asking a non-mcu question here, but does anyone know if the MMA7260Q accelerometer has a built in pull-up on the /sleepmode pin?

I know I can just pull it up, but do I have to?

Hello,

According to the data sheet, there are apparently built-in pull-down resistors on the g-select inputs, but nothing internally on the sleep mode pin.

Note that the active state of this pin is hign, so the use of an external pull-down resistor (rather than pull-up) would give lower current in sleep mode.

Mac

My question is about MMA7260q hardware too, I was reading its datasheet  and I have connected mma6270q as indicated by the datasheet  but I can't get the right values when x es (+1g) ->2.45v or close to it I only got 1.8-1.9v and when x(-1g) I got 1.4v and is the same in y and z axis  why?

I hope  you can help me

Hello,

To achieve a +1g voltage of 2.45 volt would require that the device be set to the highest sensitivity of 800 mV/g.  It appears that you may currently have the lowest sensitivity setting of 200 mV/g.  The nominal output would be 1.85 volt for +1g, and 1.45 volt for -1g, with this setting.

Regards,

Mac
