MC34708 Battery charger

I'm, developing a custom board using i.MX53 and PMIC MC34708.

Anyone know if the MC34708 battery charger supports charging Li-Polymer Battery ?

The datasheet only talks about Li-Ion Battery " ....charger for single cell Li-Ion battery, supports universal charging standard for selection of optimal charging profile..."

I don't know if you heard the latest news. The MC34708 charger is no longer supported.
