MC9S08DZ60 MSCAN

Hello,

I don't know the typical values for the following parameters in the MC9S08DZ60 MSCAN module:

* tTx: propagation delay of the transmitter part of the physical interface.

* tRx: propagation delay of the receiver part of the physical interface.

They don't appear in the datasheet, either.

I need them in order to calculate de CAN bit timing, due to the application note 1798 (equation 8). Can anyone help me with this issue?

Hello,

The MCU does NOT include a physical interface. That explains why these characteristics are not in the datasheet.

There are two types of PHY to chose from:

- Low speed and fault tolerant, ( up to 125kb/s)

- High speed. (125kb/s to 1Mb/s)

This is not FSL specific but standard to have both separated.
