I am looking for a sample Codewarrior target initialization file for the MPC860.
I am using dev board STK8xx from TQ Components with an MPC860 mini-module.
Codewarrior version 5.7.0 with Ethernet Tap.  The BDM directory referred to in the documentation is
not included in this version of CW and I assume that the 860 must have been obsoleted.

Hi Jjbloomi,

the latest CodeWarrior version is v8.7, released last week.

I just checked and the particular board/core you are asking for is not supported.
If you want to go forward, you may want to edit one of the 8xx provided initialization file and adapt it to your board.

Hope this helps...

Best Regards

Hello

You can find example of .cfg files for MPC8xx in {Install}\PowerPC_EABI_Support\Initialization_Files\PQ1 (where {Install} refers to your installation directory).

You can find more information on commands you can use in the .cfg file in "{Install}\Help\PDF\Pro & Linux App Edition Targeting Manual.pdf" in chapter "Target Initialization File".

As stated there "A target initialization file is a file that contains commands that initialize registers, memory
locations, etc. on a target board."
