is there a public repo or git somewhere to track the work on android/imx5x? or we will just wait for a full release whenever freescale is ready to release?

i wish the former is true that a community can be built for android on imx5x.

Okay, clearly I'm a newbie at git and gitweb - I found the correct URL to access the linux kernel sources clearly stated on the summary page (http://opensource.freescale.com/git?p=imx/linux-2.6-imx.git;a=summary) so for anyone else that's git illiterate:

git clone http://opensource.freescale.com/pub/scm/imx/linux-2.6-imx.git

This information was also located here: http://www.imxdev.org/wiki/index.php?title=All_Boards_Linux#Buildin...

In addition to my original question - I can't seem to access this git clone.  I get the following error whenever I try to access git via http:

fatal: http://opensource.freescale.com/git/info/refs not found: did you run git update-server-info on the server?

No matter what path I try... what am I doing wrong?

What is the relationship between the code in http://opensource.freescale.com/git and the Linux kernel included in Freescale's version of LTIB?

A public git repository will allow all of us working with the Android source base to be much more productive. Catching the periodic code drops from Freescale causes a lot of disruption in the work-flow downstream

Hoping for the best. Similarly, I also hoping to see many low cost iMx boards. Many hobby and prototype project needs the low cost boards.

Thanks. That's the one I am using. My point is that it should have an open android git, like the rest of the world(TI, Qualcomm, etc). FSL is still too closed as far as android devel is concerned, which means it's impossible to build a community around it. sigh.
