Getting Started with the i.MX23

I just found the MX23 processor today and I can say that I am very impressed with the features and specs.  I'm a reasonable AVR user and have written several programs for it.  I've also dabbled with the XMEGA and AVR32, but no released products yet.  What I'd like to know is what is needed software and hardware wise to start using the MX23?  I have a lot of the standard electronics test gear: o'scope, logic analyzer, the JTAG ICE MKII programmer for the AVR and some other stuff.

Does the eval kit come with an IDE/compiler/linker?  I'm just trying to figure out what I'd be getting myself into.

I'm too. Before, I like the AT91SAM9620 because it can run Linux OS with QFP package. But the iMX233 is much more better such as the high performance, low cost BOM in design... Now I became a Freescale newbie m(^_^)m. You can start from herehttp://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=i.MX233http://www.imxdev.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page
