Our Freescale Apps Engineer, Galib came up with this Python script to automatically program/flash Android onto an SD card, in one quick & smooth move. Nice tool, thanks Galib !  Note, you may need to delete all the partitions on your SD card using fdisk,prior to running it. Then you should be able to boot Android with no problems, just have to configure uBoot as listed in the Android Customer's Document. Tested on R8.1 and works like a charm.

programming Android into an SD card or a TF card (MicroSD Card Slot (J4) as ubuntu?

Nice.  Thanks for your post.

Tried it out on R9.2 and unfortunately no go.  Made some tweaks to adjust the sizes as required - still no-go.  Perhaps if you ever have reason or inclination to tweak your script to support the R9.2 you will post it here!
