Processor Expert support for HC908JW

I'm using the HC908GP32 and HC908JW32.  Processore Expert works fine with the GP32, but  I don't find support for the HC908JW variant in Processor Expert.  Is this coming anytime soon?

(CW V5.7.0 build 2015 and I have installed service pakc JW32 build 060721.)

Hello

Check the Freescale CodeWarrior update web page (http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/overview.jsp?nodeId=0127260061788213CF151B).

There is a service pack allowing you to expand your CodeWarrior for HC08 V5.1 with support for HCS08JW32.

This patch can only be installed on top of CW HC08 V5.1. It cannot be used with V3.1 or V5.0.

To check your installation version number:

  - Start the IDE

  - Select Help -> About Freescale CodeWarrior

  - Click on "Installed Products". You will see your actual product version number on top of the dialog.

Thanks, but I already have it installed, as far as I can tell.  Here's what CW reported:

at the top of the list:

 CodeWarrior Devel ... HC08 5.1, build 6124

 CodeWarrior Devel ... HC08 5.1 Compiler Patch 1, build 6192

and a little further down the list:

 CodeWarrior Devel ... HC08 v5.1, Service Pack JW32, build 060721

I replicated your problem (also after implementing PE patch 01 for CW 5.1.) I will ask PE developers about this. So please be patient I will let you know as soon as I receive any information.

So finally I have answer but you will not be happy...

The JW32 silicon was designed for a single customer, who was not using Processor Expert, so there is currently no PE support for this device
