audio play on imx21 (csb535fs) lite kit

I am working on imx21 lite kit( csb535fs using gx-linux professional platform).

how to play .wav(audio file) on imx21 lite kit.

Please help regarding this.

Which kernel u r using?

I booted using 2.4.20(pretty old)

  >   cd /dev

 >    cat  sample.wav>/dev/dsp

         it works, mention the path of wav file if its not into /dev directory

          or even cat  sample.wav>/dev/audio  will do
