CW 10 on Mac OS Tiger 10.4.7 won't launch

I've been using CW 10 on Tiger 10.4.7 for months without problem. Recently I had to reformat the disk as case-sensitive HFS Journaled and reinstalled the OS to 10.4.7. I expected CW to function without problem but after reinstalling it (dragging the folder from the disk), I found it won't launch. When I click on the CW application, it bounces a few times, then exits without an error message of any kind.

Any ideas how to get this working?

Thanks.

Either CW doesn't understand journaled drives, or you need to install CW via the Installer app, not by dragging and dropping the CW folder.

Okay, I'd use an installer app if one was present. But with CW 10 for the Mac, the dmg doesn't contain an installer so that option is out (you just drag the Metrowerks CW 10 folder to your Applications folder). Any other ideas on why simply changing to a case sensitive file system from a case preserving but case insensitive file system break CW 10 on the Mac?

Thanks.

I've not used CW 10, so my bad on the installer idea. OK, what was the disk formatted as originally? And what is it formatted as now? (You said HFS journalled, but I think you can only get a journalled drive when using HFS+.)

Well, Apple doesn't call it HFS+ anymore but that's what it is. The previous disk was HFS+ Journaled. Worked flawlessly. With a case-sensitive filesystem, it's hosed. Any ideas?
