About AN2573/D Rev. 1, 11/2003 LINkits LIN Evaluation Boards

Dear everybody,

          In LINkits LIN Evaluation Boards application, the master is HC9S12C32 and HC908GZ60 and four slaves are HC908GR60, HC908EY16, HC908QY4, HC908QL4. But in my situation, I have only three HC908GZ60, so if I use one GZ60 as master and the other two GZ60 as slaves in my application, does my application work ?
      

          ( Software used for my application is the same as sotware in AN2573 LINkits LIN Evaluation Boards )

Hi,

Yes it can... Only thing is you can only have one master and GZ60 are designed to be Master as they have a XTAL/Quartz and therefore a precise clock.

But if you compile the slave nodes as slave, no reason to have any problem.

If trouble in having GZ60 compiling as slave, take inspiration from GR60 as memory maps are equivalent.
