I got some simple screens and animations running using the eGUI and the internal flash memory.
Now I'd like to be able to use external flash to store bitmap data, while running the main application and eGUI from internal flash.
I haven't looked through the eGUI driver and macro definitions too closely yet, but I am wondering if referencing the bitmaps from external flash will require a rewrite of the eGUI driver code at all?
Are any parts of the screen objects precompiled ?
Any clues on how to start this task are appreciated.
