Flash_over_JTAG on a 56F8345

Hi,

I want to know if someone had success with the flash_over_jtag application?

I’m using flash_over_jtag_v2.exe and 568346_flash.cfg that came when I installed CodeWarrior 7.1 and updated at 7.2.

I don’t have the flash config file for the 568345 but the 568346 is the closest I have.

When flash_over_jtag is executed, the mass erase perform well. But I get a CRC on flash #0 (program flash) after it’s programmed.

Can someone give me a hint on this one?

You've problem with the Flash_over_jtag tool.

Not sure that a there is a cfg file for the 8345.

On the installation there is another tool named Fflash.

This is working twith USBTap and will replace the Flash_over_jtag.

Please have a look to the installation folder:

  \M56800x Support\56800E flash programmer

The last patch for the DSP 7.x is the V7.3.

The fflash tool will use the cfg file of the folder: 

  \M56800E Support\initialization

Be aware that the DSC 8.0 is available.

The Special edition license is installed by default.
If you need another version of the license please contact your local distributor.
You can have several versions installed on the same PC.
There is only one restriction: install them on separate folder.

The DSC 8.1 is a patch for the DSC8.0 (must be installed in first)
