What are the differences between the different CodeWarrior versions.  On the Freescale website there are four versions listed, but only a very cryptic description of the differences (besides the price) is given.  Is a clear desciption of each version available?

The versions listed are: CWS-MCF-PROED-CX, CWS-MCF-PROED-LX, CWS-MCF-STDED-LX and CWS-MCF-PROED-EX

I apologize in advance if the answer to this question is obvious, but I've run out of places to look on the website.

Thanks!
John

Hello

CWS-MCF-PROED-CX:  CodeWarrior Development Studio For Coldfire Architectures, Software And Support, Nodelock-Perm. That means the license is attached to a specific Host PC and you will be able to use the software from this Host only. Full feature in et software are available.

CWS-MCF-PROED-LX: CodeWarrior Development Studio For Coldfire Architectures, Software & Support, Floating-Perm. That means license is attached to a server and you can use the tools from different Host PC. Host just need to be on the LAN. Full feature in et software are available.

CWS-MCF-STDED-CX: CodeWarrior Development Studio For Coldfire, Standard Edition, Software & Support, Nodelock-Perm. That means the license is attached to a specific Host PC and you will be able to use the software from this Host only. Some limitation apply to that edition:
   - No C++ programming
  - No task aware debugging

CWX-MCF-PROED-EX: CodeWarrior Development Studio For Coldfire Architectures, Software Only, Nodelock-Eval. This is time limited evaluation license. Expires after 1 month.

I hope this helps.
