Hello,

for the HCS08 you can find the Open Source BDM here in the files section.
UIf you used a JB16 for the TBDML there are only little modifications needed to use it for the HCS08.

Euh yshmuly...
Both PCB and schematics are available on here.
The two projects were not thought together, therefore you will probably need more time trying to figure out the differences and implement them than you you would need just to build the new one from scratch.
Cheers,
Alban.

Please excuse me if I've missed the answer - I've searched this forum, but not noticed anything obvious.

What is the latest on using the original FreeGeeks TBMDL hardware to program the S08 series of MCUs (GT60, in particular)?

The more recent Freescale OpenSource firmware projects use the JB16 MCU, and unless there is a good technological reason to change, I would like to keep the investment I've made in the original JB8 hardware (I've already paid my PCB manufacturer the tooling costs for this board - If you want PCBs, let me know).

If there is no support, would anyone who knows a bit more about the differences be willing to help me re-code the firmware?

A brief glance at the schematic seemed to indicate that the same MCU I/O lines are used in the BDM interface, so I'm hoping that only internal MCU differences need to be considered?

Thanks,
Kevin
