Hi Guys,

I'm desperately needing your help on this issue. I designed a board with a QE32 uController and every time I used either the USB multilink or Multilink Universal I can't program the board or get the board to enter debug mode. The two Multilinks work great with the QG8 series.

On the other hand, when I use the cyclone Pro with the board it enters debug mode and able to program the board without any problem. What I did for a test was I toggle a port on the MCU.

I don't know why the QE32 microcontroller required the VDD Line to connect to the programming header, even if you are not using the Vdd voltage on the programmer header to power the target board.  But You have to connect it from the target board to your Multilink programmer,

Multilink is multivoltage tool. Since Vdd range is as big as 5 to 2.7V or even less, you need to provide your target Vdd to Multilink to make it able to convert logic levels to internal Multilink levels properly.
