Software:

CodeWarrior Development Studio for S12(X) Special Edition V5.1

OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows XP SP3

Problem:

After installing CodeWarrior there is some mysterious Jungo WinDirver in my Device Manager. This is very annoying and I wanted to remove it from there. But after trying to Modify the installation I got Internal Error 2753. dpinst32.exe

Now I can't do nothing at all, not even uninstall the CodeWarrior, I get the same dpinst32.exe error and installer exits. So what is this Jungo garbage and how do you get rid of it? Reinstall Windows? Way to go Freescale :smileylol:

Jungo WinDriver is required for P&E Multilink.

It's the driver for P&E USB devices, although of course it doesn't SAY that anywhere and it's not really mentioned.

I'm in the same problem with the Codewarrior S12(X) Internal Error 2753.  dpinst32.exe.  I can't finish the installation and I can't remove or uninstall (a misnomer for sure) Codewarrior and I'm stuck.

Any suggestions on what I should do next other than nuking my machine and starting my project with a micro that doesn't require Codewarrior?

The only possible solution might be to download and install the P&E Micro drivers, which CodeWarrior uses to communicate with the Multilink. That might put the Jungo driver back in place and let the installer to proceed. They can be downloaded from here, from the P&EMicro downloads page.
