Hi

I don't know about your board, but I guess its similar to the DEMOJM60 board I use

To program external CPU boards,

I simply remove the CPU and extend out the BDM and ground wires to the extranel target CPU

(you could also bring out the RESET wire to avoid having to do a manumal target reset)

Thanks but unfortunately i have demo board of 9S08AW60E so i want to ask whether the above mentioned procedure is applicable here also with this 9S08AW60E demo board or not. I feel confused because of your statement "remove cpu" . Can you elaborate on this . It will be thankful if you give me step by step procedure.

Hello,

For the DEMO9S08AW60E board, a 6-pin header would be soldered to the unused J32 location.  A 6-way ribbon cable assembly then connects from this header to the header on the target board.  The resident MCU on the board needs to be removed from its socket, to prevent conflict with the target board.

Regards,

Mac
