On our imx8mp board we mount the complete imx8mp with NPU VPU and also the imx8mp lite without NPU or VPU. I have observed that when running chromium in the imx8mp lite version it takes a long time for it to appear on the screen, about 2 minutes compared to a few seconds in the full imx8mp version. We are currently using BSP version 6.1.36. I put the log when running Chromium with the verbose option, I send a file with the complete startup and I put here the first place where it stops for 50 seconds:
