16MP autofocus MIPI camera for the NXP i.MX8 family of processors

e-con Systems' e-CAM160_iMX8 is a 16MP autofocus MIPI camera for the NXP i.MX8 family of processors. This i.MX8 camera is based on the 1/2.8" Sony Starvis IMX298 sensor. It supports 16MP still capture with zero shutter lag. e-CAM160_iMX8 uses the 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 interface for reliable streaming of uncompressed UYVY data in Full HD @ 30 fps, 4K @ 15 fps, and 16MP @ 7fps.

I previously emailed e-con inquiring about the camera module and received a rather indifferent response. I'm not sure what they're being arrogant about. This seems to be a company that picks and chooses its customers. I believe we should consider not using them. Very bad!
